Strong kids and strong families are at the very heart of a strong community, and that is "Y" we exist - to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
Our policy is to never turn a child or family away from our YMCA just because they cannot afford to pay. With the help of partners like you, YMCAs across America have built into the lives of kids, families, adults and seniors.

One hundred percent of your contribution to the YMCA of Mount Vernon stays right in our community, improving spirit, mind and body for all - making our community strong.


There are several giving options to meet your individual needs and budget:

  • Annual gift

  • Monthly gift

  • Planned giving (estate giving)
In 2001, partners provided scholarship memberships to over 150 children. These and over 10,000 other children participated in the many youth programs offered at the YMCA of Mount Vernon. Last year's participation and membership figures indicate our Y is indeed making a difference in our community.
